Gimme Outfit builds a digital closet from photos of your own clothes and suggests what to wear. It’s designed so that we, the developer, never see any of it.

No server

There is no Gimme Outfit server and no sign-in. We never receive your photos, closet, calendar or location.

AI on your iPhone

Cutouts, tagging, outfit suggestions and the stylist chat all run on your device.

Your iCloud, not ours

If iCloud is on, your closet syncs through your private iCloud database, which we can’t access.

What we collect

Nothing that identifies you. Gimme Outfit has no account system and no backend of its own. We do not collect, receive, sell or share your personal information, photos, closet data, calendar data or location. The only exception is the minimal, anonymous purchase information described under Purchases.

How the app works on your device

All of the app’s intelligence runs locally on your iPhone using Apple’s on-device frameworks — Apple Intelligence (Foundation Models), Vision and Image Playground. This covers background removal, automatic tagging, daily outfit suggestions, plain-language requests, the stylist chat and wardrobe insights. None of this content is sent to us.

Where your data lives

Your closet — item photos, tags, saved looks, outfit diary, plans, trips and wishlist — is stored on your device. If you have iCloud enabled for the app, it is also synced across your devices through your own private iCloud database (Apple CloudKit). That database belongs to your Apple Account; the developer cannot access it. Apple’s privacy policy applies to data stored in iCloud.

Permissions we ask for

Camera & Photos. Used only for the pictures you choose to take or pick. Images are processed on your device and are never uploaded to us.
Location. Used only to request the local weather from Apple WeatherKit so your outfit fits the forecast. We don’t store or receive your location. Apple’s WeatherKit privacy practices apply to that request.
Calendar (optional). Read on your device to adjust how dressy a suggestion should be for your day. Calendar data never leaves your device.
Notifications (optional). Used for the morning outfit reminder, scheduled locally on your device.

You can change any of these permissions at any time in the iOS Settings app. The app keeps working without them, with fewer personalized features.

Purchases

Gimme Outfit is free to download. It offers an optional Gimme Outfit Plus subscription (monthly or yearly, with a free trial) and a one-time lifetime purchase. Payments are processed entirely by Apple; we never see your payment details.

To validate purchases, the app may use RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives only an anonymous app user ID and your App Store purchase receipts — no name, email, photos or closet data. RevenueCat’s privacy policy applies to that information.

Tracking, ads & analytics

Gimme Outfit contains no advertising, no tracking across apps or websites, and no analytics SDKs. We do not sell data. There is nothing to opt out of.

Deleting or exporting your data

Erase everything: Settings → Erase all my data deletes your closet from your device and from your iCloud.
Export: Settings → Export my closet gives you a copy of your data.
Delete the app: removes all data stored locally on that device.

Because we never hold your data, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.

Children

Gimme Outfit is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
