Photograph one piece at a time, laid flat or on a hanger, against a plain background that contrasts with the item. Use soft, even light, avoid strong shadows, and keep the whole piece in the frame. Gimme Outfit removes the background automatically.

Daily looks are built for today’s forecast. When it’s cold, windy or rainy where you are, Gimme Outfit adds an outer layer. If it doesn’t suit you, swap or remove that piece, or shuffle for a different look.

Turn on Several pieces per photo when adding clothes and you can photograph a few items together — for example, an outfit laid out on the bed. Gimme Outfit finds each piece in the picture and adds them to your closet as separate items. For the cleanest results, leave a little space between pieces.

Yes. On iPhones without Apple Intelligence, Gimme Outfit uses its built-in style engine, so you still get daily looks on any iPhone running iOS 26.

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions, choose Gimme Outfit, and tap Cancel Subscription. You keep Plus until the end of the current billing period.

Open the Plus screen in the app and tap Restore purchases. Make sure you’re signed in with the same Apple Account you used to buy.

Yes. All of the app’s intelligence runs on your device, and there is no Gimme Outfit account or server. Your photos, closet, calendar and location are never sent to us. If you use iCloud, your closet syncs through your own private iCloud. You can export it any time (Settings → Export my closet) or erase it (Settings → Erase all my data). Read the full Privacy Policy.
